Matthew currently serves as Associate Pastor at Embassy Church in Palatine, IL, in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where he is part of the preaching team and leads in discipleship, outreach, and international missions.

Matthew's ministry journey has taken him around the world. From 2015 to 2022, he served as Youth Pastor at Emirates Baptist Church International in Dubai, UAE, followed by a role as Pastor of Community Life at Redeemer Community Church from 2022 to 2024.

Matthew earned his BA in Philosophy, with a concentration in Bioethics, from the University of Louisville in 2011, and went on to complete his Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015.

Matthew has been married to Esther since December 28, 2013, and together they have three children: Paul Athanasius (b. 2016), Rosalyn Marie (b. 2019), and Hezekiah Augustine (b. 2021).
