Laura Means has maintained a lifelong connection to Portland Christian School through both her professional service and family legacy. She taught at PCS for 19 years, investing in generations of students while raising her own family. After her youngest child graduated, Laura stepped away from the classroom to care for needs within her extended family, a role that continues to keep her actively engaged. She now serves on the PCS Alumni Board, helping strengthen relationships among graduates and the broader school community.

Laura married Stan Means, a member of the PCS Class of 1986, in 1989.Together they have three grown children and one grandchild. Their familyremains deeply rooted in faith and community life. Stan serves as an elder attheir church, while Laura serves as treasurer.

Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana UniversitySoutheast in 1989. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing and quilting, hobbiesthat reflect both creativity and craftsmanship.
