Daniel Henderson is serving the Louisville community in meaningful ways both professionally and through ministry. He is the Food Service Manager at Bellewood & Brooklawn in Louisville, Kentucky, a residential facility that supports children who have experienced severe trauma, abuse, and neglect. In addition to his work there, Daniel is an ordained pastor at LifePointe Church, serving through the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Daniel is married to Denise Blandford Henderson, a member of the PCS Class of 2000. The two met during seventh-period study hall in the fall of 1997, a story that still makes them smile. Together they have six children and one grandchild and are an adoptive and foster family. In 2014, they felt God’s clear calling to step into foster care, a decision that has deeply shaped their family’s life and ministry.
Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Southeast in 2004. He shares that living out the commandment found in John 13:34–35 has profoundly changed the course of his life. Daniel also serves as a board member at Portland Christian School and remains passionate about keeping Christ at the center of the school’s mission. He warmly welcomes anyone searching for a church home to visit LifePointe Church.
