A personal welcome letter from the Executive Director.

My name is Jodell Seay.  I love Portland Christian School as a graduate, teacher, parent, board member and now as Executive Director.  I have seen the Lord use the graduates of Portland Christian School to circle the globe to impact the lives of others for Christ. In the words of our mission statement: “PCS is committed to honoring our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Creator of all things, with a learning environment that is based on biblical principles and is intellectually stimulating. Our desire is to work cooperatively with the student’s home and church, “so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (II Timothy 3:17 NIV). 

Our graduates can be found on campuses of excellent colleges and universities. We have an active alumni association with many annual events. Portland Christian School would be honored to serve your family through the challenge of educating young men and women to discover and acquire knowledge through diligence and discovery in the classroom and in the culture of our school and community.

I daily see our mission statement come to life in academics, athletics, fine arts, mission projects and in the influence our student body exhibits in their homes, churches, school and world.

I invite you to navigate through our website and enjoy the school that opened its doors in 1924 to proclaim Christ as King and His Word as truth through excellence in education. Portland Christian School continues to be excited to offer an accessible Christian education to students who are seeking a challenging, rigorous, and fun educational experience.
